Monday, April 29, 2003 – Thirty-third session with Orlando Ramsey
Orlando is experiencing a severe state of depression. He has lost considerable weight, enough that James spoke directly to me about it. Orlando admits to very little sleep and suicidal thoughts. He refuses to write in his journal and says he doesn’t do much beyond watching television or rented movies. He admits to not having had any recent contact with Professor Manresa.
I’ve referred him to a psychiatrist for a trial prescription of Zoloft and we’ll consider a full prescription after seeing how he responds to it.
